Setting: Modern day lab

one teenager with a mobile in a lab and the scientists create different day to day scenarios ( i.e busy street, a date or school) slowly getting more dramatic (War, apocalypse or extreme weather) to see what it would take to get a teen to get off the phone and interact with the real world, to be heard instead of seen.
